Birchbox

Birchbox is an e-commerce subscription service offering a monthly box of curated beauty samples. Launched in 2010, the brand gave birth to monthly-subscription-box mania and quickly grew to 1 million subscribers and 300 employees in just a few years. When I came onboard in 2013, I was the only copywriter, which meant that I touched a little bit of everything.

Associate Editor, Marketing Content (a.k.a. copywriter)

Compose site, landing page, and email copy

Write and edit product pages

Draft articles for the Birchbox blog

Create retail signage for the Birchbox brick-and-mortar store
