Good Energy
Climate change is the biggest story of our time, yet it rarely appears onscreen. TV shows and movies that are set in our world somehow fail to acknowledge this escalating crisis, and the many ways it impacts our lives—from subtle psychological pressures to profound upheavals. But as movies such as Don’t Look Up have proven, audiences are hungry for climate stories. And climate stories can help normalize discussion of the issues and cultivate courage to face the crisis. As a nonprofit storytelling consultancy, Good Energy was created by writers, for writers, to help Hollywood get real about climate change. They launched in 2022 with a playbook for screenwriters created by a stellar team of storytellers, climate experts, and frontline activists, dedicated to supporting the creation of entertaining and authentic stories that reflect the world we live in now. I was hired by Good Energy to develop their brand strategy and core messaging at launch.
